I started Purple Paws in 2019 out of a true love and passion for dogs and dog training. I knew I needed hands-on experience, and dog walking was the perfect place to begin. The dogs themselves taught me so much about behaviour and body language, which only made me want to learn more.

 

I believe every dog deserves the chance to live a fun and fulfilling life—and that it’s absolutely possible. My goal is to strengthen the bond you share with your dog and show you that, with patience, consistency, and a few tasty treats, things really do get better.

 

I am currently working toward my APDT accreditation and have already completed several qualifications in dog behavior and body language.

As a senior Dog, Sledge doesn't join us on long walks anymore, but as a younger dog he loved group walks!
In his old age, he enjoys taking naps, going for pup-cups and exploring new places with us.
I am forever grateful to him for opening my eyes to the dog-loving world! Good boy Sledge
